An exhausted guy dragged himself in to his doctor's office.
"Doctor, there are dogs all over my neighborhood. They bark and howl
all day and all night, and I can't get any sleep." he says.
"I have good news for you," the doctor answered, rummaging through
a drawer full of medicines. "Here are some new sleeping pills that work
like a dream. With these and your troubles will be over."
"Great," the guy answered, "I'll try anything. Let's give it
a shot."
A few weeks later the guy returned, looking worse than ever. "Doc, your
plan is no good. I'm more tired than ever before!"
"I don't understand", said the doctor, "those are the strongest
pills you can get!"
"That may be so," answered the guy wearily, "but its hard enough
to run each night and catch these dogs, let alone get them to take the tablets!"
